Giving a presentation of my research paper in class today. Figured I would step it up a bit. Not that my fellow students will notice. I usually put my hats on the conference table in front of them all. Maybe they will learn some class through osmosis. Stetson St. Regis, possibly mid to late 1940s. It has been feeling neglected because of the Europeans.

I'm jealuous of everyone's great photos. I have a Samsung S8 phone, supposed to have a good camera with it, so it must be user error on my part. Maybe I need more practice getting my head centered in the photos holding camera one handed, and clicking blindly while looking away from the camera. lol

OK, WK, we all started right where you are. Not to worry! It is a matter of finding what works best for you, but two general hints are: north window lighting is probably the best; shoot from a high angle, as opposed to down low. For me, that higher angle works to reduce or even eliminate my chins. Shooting from the wrong angle makes me have more chins than the Hong Kong phone book... (remember phone books?)

Hey all!
Another of my hats saved for days when the fine felt is flying and I don't want to look like a slacker. Also, it's in a box so out of sight... :)
