Heading out for the evening under a MacLachlan.

Mr. Bowers identified it for @rclark who later sent it to me. And if you peruse the MacLachlan thread, you will see the same size tag show up in one of the other models.

The felt on the MacLachlan made Stack trilby I just got is thicker, but the feel of the finish is very, very similar.

My Dobbs Twenty beater today. (Had to replace the band - but kept the Twenty logo.) I like the purple undertones of this gray. Easy wearing and nice looking beater for sure. Enjoy.

Felt is very thin and malleable

It is not so old as it appears. The shape and proportions are really interesting

I can't help but wonder what sort of tie dye jackets he wore when, during his tenure as warden, he was reading aloud the death warrants of the condemned at the Oklahoma state pen's death house. Perhaps I'm on the wrong track there, though...

Did just find out that he had a law degree. That's kind of neat.

Sometimes if we’re lucky a hat just “fits” the person. Of all the wonderful hats, the rarest of rare’s, the unique of the unique that you have shared with all, i believe this hat says “Justin”! Sappy i know.
I hope it wears as well as it looks. Don’t ever sell it. That hat is “The Justin”!
