Thanks Richard. I've had this one for about six years and it was my first vintage hat. I just couldn't handle the change. That hat looks good with any crease Roger

Thanks, the Borsalino "Caffé" is one of my favourite of these weeksLove that hat! Looks good on you, too!
Bowen, you see the surfaceWhew...85 in the first one then went blind!!!
Caution...view at your own risk (pleasure).
Incredible Sir!
Be well. Bowen
Looks fine to me, but then I'm biased. It's not that far removed from a bespoke hat that a Belgian milliner made for me.The factory crease they put in is not what I would have chosen, but it is ok for now.

Will have to see how the morning shapes up, could be a bit too much brim for the wind conditions
Have a great day
Michael
Richard, Thanks!another super looking felt Steve, highest class indeed.
Very nice Danielle. It is quite sunny
Modern Tonak in blue
Felt and color are really outstanding for a contemporary hat, the rest of the components are good
A real interesting hat for the modern times. The shape is alittle bit banal, but you can change it
Felt is one of the best, for price around €100, you can find on the market
Have a nice day and thanks for the likes on the Ecuyer & Thomas
Thanks Perry. I have to get my wear in on this suit while the weather is still amenable. You've been killing it in the shawl collar sweaters lately. The Knox makes for a perfect pair today.FAntastic suit and hat combo Michael.
Is this the article? With a substantial amount of searching on Newspapers.com this is what surfaced. It is from the Hanover PA Evening Sun, 10 November 1948. Enjoy. Sure is a purdy hat.Thank you. The only history I've been able to find is what's in the Demon Hanover thread, based mostly off one newspaper article. I've never seen another Hoyt beyond the few DHs, no ads, nor other hat models.
Being in Danbury ("Hat City USA"), one would think there is something, but my Google-fu has been weak in this area.

Love that ribbon treatment Jim. Super hat. Check out the research I did on the Demon (posted on the post from yesterday). Thanks for all the likes and compliments on the Demon Hanover yesterday. Sorry, Bowen, I didn't see your post until this morning. I'll be sure to include the horsey next time!
Youthfully smart Tuesday...Mallory "Ten" Premier Quality.

Great look with that jacket and tie Matt. Nothing finer than a pristine Royale Deluxe. The epitome of "hat".Stetson Royal DeLuxe for the fun this morning. A little bit of ice turned what should have been a fifteen minute drive into an hour. Crashes galore. Bummer.
Happy Tuesday.
I'm sure that my modern production Stetson is no match from a stellar Weis creation. Love this one.Looks fine to me, but then I'm biased. It's not that far removed from a bespoke hat that a Belgian milliner made for me.

Is this one as navy blue as it appears in the image? I just love it. The name of the store it came from is a total hoot!Biltmore President out playing in the frost this morning.

The felt on that Knox is nice and supple. You can see it in how thick the brim is. Premier?

I'm really liking the tone of the Dove Gray, maybe worth a trip down to southern Oregon to see it in person. That heather Borso is to die for Eric!Good morning. Traveling end of last week thru yesterday, I got to only witness the terrific parade of hats. Truly excellent. Thanks to all for sharing!
Yesterday evening a VS (dove beaver felt Stratoliner clone) was my head cover.
Earlier this morning my heathered vtg.Borsalino. The felt and colors of the hat make me smile when I pick it up.
Best to all, Eric -
Today is shaping up to be a "Blue" day. This modern offering from Tonak looks like it is very nice quality. Super Daniele. It is quite sunny
