Hey folks!
It's the Ècuyer & Thomas for Motsch Fils today. Hard to walk by this one without feeling it, let alone putting it on.
Have a great day!
Thanks everyone for the recent likes and comments. Apologies for not getting around to responding to each comment. Maybe I can catch up soon. The Dorer accompanies me as I head out into the recently returned winter weather.

Sofia Bulgaria? That would certainly be scarce in the U.S.Borsalino probably late 1930s early 1940s. This one has the separate size stamp and was from the Simeon Zlateff Sofia find of about 10 years ago.

I just have to second that! It is such a treat to see these beautiful vintage hats that we may otherwise never see!We are SO fortunate to have you posting such amazing finds, Steve. Like a Home Run Derby, in Besaball terms. EVERY one!!
Thanks Charlie!I love this lid, Moe. Your magnificent collection must be something to see all in one shot...
They were found in Bulgaria and shipped from there. There are some still on Ebay but in small sizes.Sofia Bulgaria? That would certainly be scarce in the U.S.

Certainly a beautiful hat of interesting lineage. Thanks for posting such a gem! I used to have a good friend from Sofia. They were found in Bulgaria and shipped from there. There are some still on Ebay but in small sizes.
That thing is bananas. Sorry, Alan but some of these guys are a bad influence on me. They know who they are. Such a great hat.

Thanks Charlie. You were tearing it up in the 'burg today. Hope your weather hasn't been too bad. I haven't been keeping up with the reports. That's one Great Grafton. A totally terrific lid, Michael!!
Nice crease. I have been playing with center creases a lot lately with all the European hats coming my way. What size are you? You should be looking for some vintage felt in the bay. Once you go vintage, you will never go back. Thanks! Are you a mind reader?? Regarding the growing brim. I keep chanting in my head... I love my stingy brims, I love my stingy brims, I love my stingy brims...
Then this morning I grab the Temple, Stare at myself in the mirror. Hmm, I'll give it a go!
The bash isn't the standard Temple bash, I gave it a center crease, no pinch. I have this weird habit of personalizing almost everything.

It is a unique piece of black-deep grey velour made in a masterful way
It came from Viena. What I can say more?
