Great to see the Trimble again. I like the new ribbon very much.

And seeing you with a narrower brim (for you, anyway) gets me thinking that we gotta get you into some fedoras, derbies and homburgs. I think that you would be able to pull off all of them very well.

A slight skiff of snow this morning in Oregon. Off for supplies in the 1950s British Battersby homburg. Nice crisp lines and brim curl on this one, very dark gray in color. Great felt too.

Trying to ward off the unnatural and disgustingly warm weather with the Adam THE POLAR.

Of course... I can't complain too much for there is a nice silver lining: great top down weather.

I found after a few wearings that the OR crease on this silver belly O'Farrell just didn't work for me so I redid it last night.

What a great Bradford, do you think it is pre Resistol? It looks like it to me. That red liner with gold piping sure looks similar to early Resistol westerns though. Makes me wonder if there were company ties before Resistol bought Bradford.

I have a Bradford OR clone from that same era - I think they were already being produced by Resistol at that point. But I could very well be mistaken. Would need to see the inside reorder tag to know for sure.

Nice to be missed. Thanks, Trench! Still here. Still wearing hats, but haven't acquired much new lately. I worried people were getting tired of seeing the same old stuff on my head. Yesterday morning in a Stetsonian:

Outside chores this morning in a Stetson Playboy.

This is the unlined Playboy labeled sweat, plain brim edge with the thin ribbon. While questions exist about the hat there is no doubt this is an enjoyable light weight brown hat.
