Thank you! I must credit Art Fawcett for the basic bash; I've only tweaked it a little, sharpening the pinch, teasing the crown a tad higher, and getting the brim down a bit in front and up in back. That brim didn't want to snap at all when I bought it.

Two hat day, because I was stuck to the TV yesterday (olympics will do that).

First the Resolut homburg.

After that it was the Mayser wildleder.

Until 2 weeks ago, I'd been very smug and self-satisfied about how I hadn't come down with anything more than a sniffle this season.

I'm gettin' my comeuppance.

This second sick-smack in the last two weeks had me buried under covers for 3 damned days. Got to see a hell of a lot of good, old movies through the sick haze, though. Great hats... Lots and lots of great hats...

My folks are driving down here and expect me to meet with them to look at an apartment for their possible relocation. So I'm crawling out for coffee under The Adam THE POLAR.

Gawd... I hate the way cold medicine makes me feel.

Quick pic before work , interesting I recently purchased this the seller ,"I purchased this hat without a liner or a sweatband. I put in a Courtney liner but the production tag is a Dobbs verified by the Hatted Professor".
Would love to know if anyone has any insight

sounds like the seller was clear ... Brad Bowers confirmed that the tags are Hat Corporation of America and the seller replaced the sweat and put in the liner

Yeah, I'll break it out and get a picture. The color seems to have a greenish undertone which I don't like. I don't even wear it. I'll probably try to trade it off to someone who likes the color better than I do. It's beaver felt and Mike Miller made it for me. Anyone familiar with Mike's work would know that it's a well made hat.

If it were a 22 1/4 I'd take it.
That slight green undertone is what makes it great IMO

Here it is. This is a Pecan from Mike Miller, and if you're familiar with his work, you know the hat's very well made and this one is done in Beaver felt. It's just that the color doesn't suit me. Too much greenish undertones. I don't pull off the color as well as you do.
