A wife that brings you hats? That's a keeper allright! From the Hats Not Worn Much Department, a Royal Stetson from the early 1960s. One of my early gets when I began this "hat thing." I now gravitate to taller, blockier crowns and much wider brims. However, my wife found this one at an estate sale and was proud of her find, so I'll never get rid of it.

It deserves more head time; lovely looking hat.Back from lunch.Had not gave my Falcon Park head time for a while. Now I want some Roots stew.
You better watch out when the church ladies see you like this, Mike.We finally are getting a little more winter cold before the great thaw. Decided to give the camel overcoat another run with my Echter Borsalino in Dattero to top it off. I still need to get to my Haberdasher to have some tailoring done (sleeves are a little long...). The nice thing is this one will fit over a suit coat with no problem.

Thank you! I must credit Art Fawcett for the basic bash; I've only tweaked it a little, sharpening the pinch, teasing the crown a tad higher, and getting the brim down a bit in front and up in back. That brim didn't want to snap at all when I bought it.Suits you well. Well done.
Can't go wrong with a heather felt, especially if they are as nice as this one. Beautiful hat, Daniele.Monday morning with some rain, some clear sky. It's February!

The Ramenzoni hats are even better, I have two.Yes they are very good indeed !! This one of yours is a beauty !!
A borsalino deserves more respect than that! Makes you wonder what they expected to find in there...View attachment 106305 Borsalino Como in fawn.
I purchased this from JJ in NYC two years ago. On the way through the TSA checkpoint at LaGuardia, they demanded to inspect the hat. As the young man finished removing the liner and mashing the crown he said, “Nice hat.” I replied, “It WAS.”
Never did get the liner back in quite right...
Fantastic hat, Mike. Love these colours. Now if only that button would behaveMallory Monday! Broke out the Mallory XV to sport on campus today. Love this hat, the wind trolley button is a constant bother however. We could not get it to behave at Mike Miller's. It may have to be cut off and redone. Still loving the gills.

That Portis is AWESOME!!!!
Love the color on that Portis Greg.
Hat porn.
Sorry to hear you've been ill, Matt. That polar should make you feel better though (it works for me).Until 2 weeks ago, I'd been very smug and self-satisfied about how I hadn't come down with anything more than a sniffle this season.
I'm gettin' my comeuppance.
This second sick-smack in the last two weeks had me buried under covers for 3 damned days. Got to see a hell of a lot of good, old movies through the sick haze, though. Great hats... Lots and lots of great hats...
My folks are driving down here and expect me to meet with them to look at an apartment for their possible relocation. So I'm crawling out for coffee under The Adam THE POLAR.
Gawd... I hate the way cold medicine makes me feel.
EXCELSIOR!!!
