What an awesome hat! It's always a bit sad that these heirlooms get separated from the families of those that are called out in the personalization, but I'm cheered by the fact that it currently has a great new home. Congrats Rick!

Thank you. The only really hard thing was stretching it from 7 to7 1/8. Lot harder than usual. I think it was because of it being so stiff. But I'm happy with it now.

Diamond in the rough, buddy. It may clean up better than you think. If the felt's pretty solid and if you can reuse a thing or two that's original to the hat you could end up with something really nice.
