The unusual finds are the "salt of th heart" for every passionate hats lovers. I wish to have one every year!

That felt is very unusual,very nice.

Thanks Bob! The felt is very "Borsalinesque" since it probably comes from the same source. Vanzina was at that time merged in Borsalino

Great looking hat, overall, but I am especially liking the complementary colored edge binding that neither exactly matches the hat or the ribbon. Gives me ideas.

Thanks for all of the kind words about THE POLAR. It's my sorta edumacated guess that it was one of Adam's hats of the month with the particular month being November 1942. That's when the ad that I jackassed with is from.

Daniele and Srefan. All I can say is unbelievable. Those are both extraordinary hats for color and form.

Matt, thank you! Buying that one was a no-brainer.
