Other than the ribbon and binding widths, they are very similar. Perhaps a slight blocking difference, bu that could be angles. Good comparison.
I just noticed when I was looking at the photos of the Marathon today how close it seemed to the color of that OR. I really like that dark grey with a bit of olive felt and the ribbons with a bit of bronze.

Super hat and good looking briefcase. Michael, you can sure put it together :)
Thanks 65. Easy to put something together with this hat.

This, in and of itself, is a great picture.
Thanks Scotty.

The Cavanagh Huggie Bear got it's first exposure to the public today. The crowd did not seem to notice much, I slid silently through the throngs unscathed. Some successful selfies. Still scared of that tapatalk thingie.

Red you look great. Your are a true hat man. The same old thing can get a little boring. Your setting a new trend on lounge with that bad boy!

Two hat day today (actually three, but forgot ot take a shot of the third one). First one was the borsalino selentino.

After that it was time to follow in the footsteps of Matt (Barnes) with a homburg. The Lee in navy blue for its first outing (maybe in decades). Ribbon still needs a little steam.

Two more great ones Stefan. That Lee homburg has perfect brim lines. I like a homburg with a nice swooping curl.

Thanks, DD - and to everyone that liked the post. Other than the sunset (and if you like freight trains) it isn’t really the prettiest commute.

Today I’ve been enjoying one of my first hats, VS in Black Cherry.

Nice old Dobbs. Great crease and brim treatment.

Michael, thanks. I'm a bit unsure about the coat. It's not military length, so I think it's more inspired by military coats than an actual one.

The collar and lapels are what draw me to this wonderful great coat. It is very impressive.

You’ll be the best dressed man there in that hat and jacket
Thanks Richard, but in the group there are some period reenactors who can really turn the clock back!

Very nice, HJ. You wearing the red Paul Bonds tonight, are can you even pull boots on yet?
I got my stitches out Thurs & now taking therapy but there's no way I can pull on a pair of boots yet. Even with boot pullers. And if I ever got them on, I'd never get them back off. I'm still pretty much one-armed.

Fantastic hat. And that jacket... EXCELSIOR!
Thanks Matt.

Very appropriate apparel Jack. You will look aces & eights in that getup. (
Thanks Mike. A good time was had by all!
