ME, ME, Frun!! I hope y'all had the best one yet!!!!! You, @moontheloon, and @blueAZNmonkey! What a busy week!!

Thanks Charlie. I got everything I wanted. I saw a matinee of the new Thor movie and got Popeye's for dinner.

And sneaked a little bourbon in there, as well.

Your turkey looked good. Hail to the chef!

Hello Sir: Sweet hat. That ribbon appears to have the original trademarked “Matchstick Holder” holes. I believe they called them Portis Ports. Just sayin.... Be well and happy day after birthday. Bowen

Damn, Jim. My kinda birthday. We may be related. No movie but Popeye's on 10/23 when I celebrated mine. SHE asked me where I wanted to eat and I asked that Popeye's be brought home. Belated happy birthday, my man.

Today is another ancient French hat on stroll to my office
takh2o.jpg

It is a JB made of wool, or mixed felt, before World War II
9q92j6.jpg

It comes from that landmark located in Strasbourg and precisely in the Chapellerie Meer

I have a particular preference for this hat even if some signs of the time are on it

Thanks for your appreciation for Monday's Flechet

Simply OUTSTANDING, Daniele!!! My new favorite of your collection!

Well, Happy Birthday to both of you! I hope you have great days.

Ant, I knew yours was around now sometime, but couldn't remember exactly when.

I notched #57 into my belt yesterday.

A late Happy Birthday to you Jim. I have already read that you had fun, which is a good start to the next year.

Wow, Michael you have outdone yourself today. I love the tweed suit and Fair Isle sweater. Hat's nice too.
Thanks Perry. Could be my high water mark for the year.

Both suit and hat are wonderful , Michael.
Thank you, sir. I see you are wearing another fine hat today. Gorgeous Huckel.

Thank Bowen. Tweed is quite likely my favorite fabric choice.

Thanks all,
Michael

Monday dedicated to the first hat arrived in the third Italy-Holland exchange. THANKS Stefan

Borsalino Qualità Suprema. I have/had some other. One travelled to Oregon some months ago
9j2gr4.jpg

"Bismuto" is the color and it was made in 1977. Felt is a medium stiff for the Borsalino standard.

Size is 6 1/2 French or 7 1/2 US, perfect for my head

Contrasting ribbon, not so easy to find in Borsalino here in Europe
2qu7yoz.jpg

I had some doubts to have it, but now I'm very happy of the choice ;)
Stefan is the man to thanks!
Have a nice Monday and many thanks for the appreciation of the last week on the French oldies
That's a beauty Daniele
