I'm a little confused. OSU's (Ohio State University) colors are red and gray. What OSU are you?

He's OSU, not THE OSU. [emoji4]

Frosty Monday. Today I'm under a Barclay lid of indeterminate age, but likely 1940s.

Ominous figure with the substantial hat and coat. Cool pictures.

Dobbs Hanover Square.

The lighting in my office is horrible in general, and for pictures especially. I tried a flash on this one.
Love those "Landmark" models of Dobbs. Great coat, A-2?

Perfect tall crown Perry. Great lines.

I love the leather band, it changes the whole character of that FED IV. Nice.

Thanks Mike.
o_O Seeing as I'm in the "other OSU" state, Ohio, I know the difference.

Good morning loungers, I'm still here for a day in Verona after a week in Tuscany

Today the hat is a Flechet made in France
j0urlu.jpg

It was probably blocked a few years before World War II.
The address of the Strasbourg Meer hats shop, which sold it, is the first to be traced back to the memory of the last owner
208uuxg.jpg

The quality is Pilote Uni Ras the color is Meuse, the felt is very soft and very peachy
Its shape is that of a homburg without brims wrapped in ribbon and curled

It is part of my collection of Flechet built in France before and after World War II

Buon lunedì a tutti!

Really late to the part today. Maybe someone will see it in the morning. Doing Deacon duties at church this morning, gave me a chance to dress a little less schlub like. Navy Gannon got some crease tweaking and a much needed brush. Do love this hat, I don't need to "dress" for it, should bring it out more often.

Great Gannon, Red! A really super hat!

Fantastic profile on this one, Karl.

The rest of the week was like this.

Looks real good on you! Dobbs sure made some great lids.

Fabulous per usual, Perry!

The leather band really sets this one apart from the crowd!

Fabulous Flechet Daniele. The brim curl is very European looking. Love the look of that felt.

In solidarity with Daniele this morning I chose my Mossant Diplomatique. Unlined with vestige of a Mossant logo inside. I may be of the same era as his Flechet.

Your collection has exploded, Mike, and it's really getting diverse and quite impressive! Love this Mossant. One of these days I'll find a great vintage European hat in 60cm.
