New/used Akubra Stylemaster in Acorn. So far I'm digging the pliability of the pure Beaver felt. It's stylish and goes well with flannel and denim or a suit. It's a quality manufactured hat from Down Under.

So, only complaint is that the crown isn't taller or boxy. Basically, it's a beautiful hat but unlike vintage hats it lack that je ne sais quoi look.

Vita-Felt Stetsonian on this lovely Friday morning.

It was made in 1946, the same year my dad was born. So, in celebration of my dear, old dad, I'm also wearing the jacket he painted for me back when I was teenage Dead freak.

The nostalgia reminds me that "All the years combine. They melt into a dream..."
