Thanks Stefan.I really enjoy seeing all your homburgs, Matt. So many combinations I don't have (yet).

Great hat. Lovely colour combination.Lotta great looking stuff. I'm envious!
Pretty chilly here today in Central Ohio. Good felt wearing weather, though. That's the good thing.
Wearing my Stetson Nutria Quality Conversion, and with a wide ribbon too!
A few of my favorite Film Noirs....
Out Of The Past with Robert Mitchum
Murder My Sweet with Dick Powell
The Asphalt Jungle with Sterling Hayden
Framed with Glenn Ford
The Third Man with Orson Wells and Joseph Cotton
Sydney Australia that is of course!
Great looking hat, John. Don't see many penn-craft hats here on the lounge.Hey folks!
A big thank you to all veterans for your service.
This Penn-Craft Lords' Hat continues my recent brown curled brim trend.
Have a great day!

More for the shopping list...Knox Madison Ave as I go to get my mass on.
Merry Sunday.
Simply gorgeous. I love how that felt creases.
That is so cool!Thank you sir
It is some of the most beautiful felt I’ve handed.
Not super lightweight... but really quite thin and so so dense.

Thank you steur.Great hat. Lovely colour combination.
Thank you Bob. I can't take credit for this particular conversion, though. A good friend of mine who also did conversions converted this hat and gave it to me. He sent it to me open crowned and I did the creasing and the ribbon and bow work. Thanks Terry! Really like the Nutria conversion you did.
Thanks Mike!
You're quite welcome Willebe.Thank you, Sir.

No wonder you are in a different day! Very nice looking Tam!
Cool... For us, that means that Hadley is from well into the future. A time traveller! Neato!
Great tam Hadley!
I was pretty sure it wasn't Sidney, Alabama.
You're welcome mmb, and thank you. I have a Black Western Resistol that Anthony gave me and a Burgundyish(?) colored ribbon that Esther sent me sometime last year or so, if Esther sees this post she could probably tell me what color it is for sure. In any event, it would match up nicely on the black color. I may take the hat apart again and reblock it on a straighter sided block. I avoided doing that the first time because I thought straight sides and a taller crown on a black hat would make it look like something Abraham Lincoln would have worn. But, with that ribbon color it might break it up some. Thanks Terry. The felt is black. The grosgrain is closer to a plum than burgundy.
I'm sitting under halogen bulbs in a Barnes & Noble right now. An app on my phone assigns the Hex color as #584040.
Here is a website for more info on the color recognized by my app.

I have also attached an enlargement of the binding and ribbon from a photo I took in the sunshine earlier today. It does appear considerably lighter in the sunshine.
By the way... I failed to compliment you on the job you did on that blue number you recently finished. Congratulations. It's a stunner.
Enjoy.
Matt
