thanks red, by the time they hit they are what used be called bad weather or storms, the media exaggerates and now gives these things names. Last week storm Brian was so disappointing to the international media hanging around after ex-hurricane Ophelia, they reported on the river shannon flooding as it does because it needs to be dredged, but it can't be dredged cause Terns suddenly have rights too apparently. I'm not saying there isn't more rain than usual, I'm saying we used to dredge through what are now wildlife sanctuaries. There's simple solutions. Not many wealthy people get flooded Vs wealthy people & tourists see less Terns on summer pleasure boating.
