Thats a good brim flange. Nice n cuppy. Looks just right brim up.Took my new Akubra Campdraft (from the EA sale) on the open road - here we are waiting on a connection at DTW. I tried a couple fedora bashes on this last night but I prefer a cattleman bash on this hat.
Well, there's still time to change hobbies. And, should you choose that particular one, let me know. I'll give you ten bucks for your Cavanagh 100.I should have been a crack addict.
Big soft pinches and smooth diamond.Stunning Whippet, @DJH. One of my faves.
@Samuel, what era is your Whippet? A shot showing off more crown would be great. Innards if it's vintage, please.
@Daniele Tanto, great NOS Borsa
@Michael A, that OR of yours is one of my faves, as well
@Short Balding Guy, beautisimous Stetsons!
@RJR, great Penman. Classic
@Knotten, great Pilgrim. Love the color.
@KarlCrow, your heathers are great!
Who did I forget? @101pathfinder - love the caribou color
@deadlyhandsome, suburbia never looked so good.
Getting to work in the dark now, so outdoor shots are becoming difficult. Here is the Gannon Mr. Natural in fluorescent light.
Sent directly from my mind to yours.

Have a fine day, and welcome back Bob,
Michael
Eric, both two beauties today.It is a gorgeous Minnesota fall morning. Out this morning in a vtg. Stetson Scoop. The hat has it all - well maybe a small printed Press ticket to stick in brim would complete it. I like it without.
I am finishing picking raseberries as heavier frosts are coming. I am wearing a presentation Stetson. This 7x Clear Beaver was pointed out to me by Vic (forum member). Slate gray hued hat with a smaller brim. The felt, the felt!
Best, Eric -
That is a very cool hat, natural and sand?been a while since I’ve worn this Gannon “Outlaw”
Such a pleasure to wear ...

Classic looking hat, Richard. Another lovely one.Spotting on the liner but otherwise clean
Great hats on everyone today.
Thanks Bob. A lot of people hunt only one variety of mushroom, so that would be quite seasonal. If you hunt many varieties then the season goes from early spring to late fall, with a decided dead zone around here in June and July. Even a 5 day above freezing run of weather can bring oysters out in the middle of the winter. In early fall I might guess you were hunting Honey mushrooms or Chicken of the Woods. Hen of the Woods season should be starting around here now and hopefully will be better after yesterday's rains.Thank you Michael. Good to see you. Was always wondering if mushrooming was seasonal? I seem to recall my grandfather and I goin out in early warm fall days.
Thanks Richard. I think it's blue today due to the vagaries of light, digital cameras and monitors. Some days it looks very grey, others it's bluish grey, others it is sort of olive. Right now sitting in the house with artificial light it's mostly a grey with a bit of green, but the brim binding is very close to the same color as the drab clothes I'm wearing.Michael, cool blue OR
View attachment 88858 Just "freakin" Lol. Thanks for all the love and support. SINCERELY! I've missed you all terribly.
Daniele, thanks. Same coat and scarf today, but with different Borsalino. Today the "film".
