Thanks for all the nice comments yesterday. Today it's a 1940s vintage Champ.

I got a Derby that dare not speak it's name a while back. It is early, the only markings found were from a clothing store on Long Island NY called Dunstatter's. The sweat stitching had rotted and was not worth saving, so I had Mike reshape and put in a modern sweat with a liner. It is going to be a daily driver Derby to go with my Christy's Bowler.

A weekend of intermittent internet, so I'm catching up. For the most part, I donned either the whiskey VS, or, since (because of Al Gore) it was STILL in the upper 80s to 90 degrees F, the PHD Special Reserve.

Also a weekend with three under three...

That is one beautiful headpiece

Wear the hell out of that one Mike

Sure looks right, Red! I{d be proud to wear a hat like that!

Nice save on this one, too!
Dig the color, and ribbon combo

Thanks guys, yesterday was a good hat day. I was able to fondle a lot of cool hats.

New Hat Day as I track the delivery of a Gannon today. Greeting the day in a 3XOR.

Great OR Jim. Waiting with bated breath for the photos of the new Gannon.

Today is dedicated to one of the oldest (maybe late forties) Borsalino I have in my collection

It was a fantastic find some months ago in Bologna

Qualità Extra Superiore Petronius "Lavorazione speciale"

Felt is medium stiff with a very peachy finish

Sweatband is not at its best, the felt is pristine despite the years

This old needs an appropriate presentation

Buon mercoledì
This is one of the nicest hats you have posted of late Daniele. Love that clean edge on the brim, it draws the eye to the wonderful lines.

Beautiful Borsalino Bob.

Finally, a cool morning. Wearing a Gordon that I think might be from the '30s.

That's how I'll start the day at least. It's supposed to stay comfortably cool all day, so I may rotate through several hats and caps.

Have a good Wednesday,
Michael
That Gordon has character Michael. The crown is grand! 2 1/4 inch brim?

Good morning dog walk wearing a VS Wanderer (granite felt).

Ribbon with a "twist." Art had prepared this hat just before I was heading to the 2012 London Olympics. The hat was a champion.

Beautiful Eric. The twist in the ribbon is a nice touch from Art. I am liking granite more and more.

Sweet Borso Samuel, where did you find this beauty?

Today's lid is a Custom job I bought from a member and I think it works perfectly with suit I have on. Stetson XXXXX Beaver which is a rework from an Open Road.

Stunning straw Perry. I have one more day of straw weather and then just PNW rain for a while. You inspire me.

Bought it off some guy in Milan who had a collection. I had to restore it and care for it and re bash it.
