Today's lid is a Custom job I bought from a member and I think it works perfectly with suit I have on. Stetson XXXXX Beaver which is a rework from an Open Road.

Today is dedicated to one of the oldest (maybe late forties) Borsalino I have in my collection

It was a fantastic find some months ago in Bologna

Qualità Extra Superiore Petronius "Lavorazione speciale"

Felt is medium stiff with a very peachy finish

Sweatband is not at its best, the felt is pristine despite the years

This old needs an appropriate presentation

As I see it, residents of the Great Pacific NW have 2 days left of good straw hat wearing weather, despite the late date. I grabbed my little Stetson (?) parabuntal this morning. Sweet little hat with a rocky start and a good finish to become one of my favorite summer "straws."
