View attachment 77771 View attachment 77772 Spent most of the day at the range on my day off in this old sweat stained work horse! Cleaned up when I got home for supper on the town and went with the Norwood Stetson again. My plan is to recycle the outfit tomorrow for work but bring out the big guns with the Penman/Brent Black Panama.
Damn Jer, you are one snappy dresser! Gotta get me sum spectators like those.

I took a few different pieces. I spent most of the day on the outdoor handgun range running drills with my Glock 34. I dusted the cobwebs off my Mega Arms AR 10 build that I did in 6.5 Creedmoor out to the 400 and 500 yard gongs. I also brought out some of my old military service rifles. An original 1898 Krag Carbine, Japanese Type II Paratrooper takedown rifle, and a pair of 1917 Smith and Wesson revolvers (one USGI and a very early 1920 commercial). It was a pretty long day lol. Thank god it wasn't too hot today otherwise I would have been really nuked.
+1 I remember those days, ahhhhh!

The 6.5 Creedmore sounds interesting, anything like a 6mm and out to a 1000yds...???
I shoot mostly Precision Bench Rest 22LR at 50yds, One hole 5 shot groups measuring .150 c/c, occasionaly 6PPC at 100 & 200 again Precision BR all custom rifles, Shilen barrels...

it's a Turf Club
very different from a Stratoliner ...
completely different block
completely different flange and brim width
has an underwelt and a mid ribbon
very nice piece ... I enjoy it very much
it is a somewhat rare piece as well as we do not see many of them around

Thank goodness, the mortgage is paid, Ant. I can usually do as I please (as long as she's not offended...)

Besides, I really need to visit le barber. It's almost like I forgot the 60's are OVER!

And, to pile on the praise, your Turf Club is BEYOND INSANE. Truly a special lid!! Axl's going to look GREAT in that one...

If you'd have asked me, I would have said that was a Cavanagh edge. Is the underwelt that good or is it just my dinky little iPhone screen?

Either way, I want to join that club.

Are hat sizes hereditary?

Another fabulous cool morning. Supposed to hot up a bit this afternoon, but for now yesterday's new hat is today's old hat. Wormser,

I don't know what hat or cap will be accompanying me on today's bicycle outing, but I am sure it won't be this one.
