Nothing significant to see in the interior. I found the hat on a table at a gun show in Fredericksburg, TX, but it had no sweat band (only the Stetson decal, which was peeling off, and the size decal). So, I took the hat to Texas Hatters in Lockhart, who installed a new sweatband.

This hat is nearly identical to another hat I owned (and has changed hand several times on TFL over the years). That one had the sweatband, but it was coming loose - I sold it only because it was a 7-3/8 and this one is a better fit in 7-1/2. The other difference is the 7-3/8 was a much stiffer felt - almost like a derby, as I recall.

That's tasty. How about some interior shots, please?

Yesterday Daniele wore his Borsalino Mirtillo fedora and Alan went with a Borsalino nutria homburg. They inspired me to mash them together and wear my Borsalino Mirtillo nutria homburg today.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.

The Borsa-burgs on the forum have been stellar as of late-- yours is no exception!

Black felt very soft and brims under the average

It is a sixties hat very appreciated by the old man I found along the way

Thanks for the likes on Borsalino "Mirtillo"
A slim brim is good when it exudes quality like this one. Sometimes you just have to embrace the stingy.

I like the spring look, that velour never ceases to amaze! Chartreuse socks? Or are they fluorescent?
