Please forgive the heresy of wearing this hat before Straw Hat Day next month, but could not resist trying out my new Stetson vent-weave 10X “straw” Open Road. The color is “Toast” (slightly darker tan than the photo shows), with a brown ribbon, and seems lighter in weight than my other “straw” Open Roads. The overall quality and finish is much better than my other ORs as well.

For this beauty, you are excused!

Thin felt made during the "golden" period of Borsalino production

It is very malleable and change shape in a moment

Mirtillo is a wonderful color, it picks up different tones in different lights. Nice.

Jaxon is Village Hats house brand. I can only speak for this Jaxon hat. It is felted, pounced, dyed and finished nicer then many $175+ Hatco products.
