It's a little warm here outside tonight to wear the MSCD so I grabbed this old Bailey U-Rollit. I intend to do some work on it before full-blown straw season gets here.

What kind of work, it looks great as it is.

I haven't posted for a few days but I've been keeping an eye on everyone and you're all looking great. Love the 'dandyisms', everyone looks awesome on a cowboy hat! There's nothing like a good challenge.
I picked up my glasses and managed to wear them all day yesterday but by the end of the day I was feeling dizzy. Still I'm amazed at the 3D feeling I have now that I see everything in focus:

Like Rodolfo I also need reading glasses, I love this modern take on the old fashioned pince-nez I bought yesterday:

Finally the gargoyles on the Cathedral of Barcelona keep me company:

Cristina, they look great and you see great. Sounds like a win-win. Nice hat too! and great photos. If you are like me you will need 3 or 5 pair of reading glasses. I'm constantly hiding them from myself.

Rodolfo, I love this hat, great look and color combination! Would look great with a suit and tie... although you look great as it is!

Churchill Beaver 100/ Vicuna... one that should come out of the suitcase more often. More photos of this hat here.

Great hat, Alan, love these thin ribbon bows. I'm amazed you can sit in the car with the hat on... then again that must have been a pre-requisite when buying the car

Thanks Doug. I don't have any proofs for the age of the hat, but I suspect 60s, maybe 50s. The only paper in it was the size tag and that is now apparently glued to the back of my head as it's no longer in the hat. Ha ha. The tip,

I lied to you all yesterday and feel extremely guilty. I said I only have one hat but I do have another. It's a secret service issue Sniper-dora (I'm still trying to work out the proper crease). Casual Friday at the office. I'm attempting to look like a badass. What do you think, do I make a dandy badass or what?

It's really getting too warm here for a felt hat. But I decided to bring my Resistol Kitten Finish semi-stingy today (cross-posted from the Resistol Roundup thread):



For some reason it's the only hat on which I've left the feather, if the hat came with one. Perhaps because it's dark and subtle.
