A warm sunny day here in NorCal. A Borsalino Panama that I found in a thrift store is more than wide enough to shade my eyes.

It's still hot over here, but I wanted to take blue monkey creation #2 out for a spin! The felt is Czech rabbit by way of ManHatCo in NY; the leather and lining is from lounger @bond .

My personal critique -- I need to block these with higher, straighter crowns -- I find that my current block doesn't provide enough slack to get really creative with the crease sculpting. Still - I'm pretty happy with how it turned out!

Just got a break at work and saw this. Love it! I've always said I'd like to travel with a group of trumpeters who would play a fanfare before I entered any room. Maybe then I could get some respect around here.
