Good morning to all. I have been out and about in my Gannon Wanderer (steel w/charcoal ribbon treatment). The heavy winds have abated and hats can be worn in my neighborhood.

Crazy lighting this morning has given the hat an eerie blue cast to it. Better shots of the color beaver felt to come. This I guarantee as I like the hat and it will certainly see much more head time.

The inside shot better captures the true color. The charcoal ribbon is nearly a perfect color match to the felt.

Borsalino Trionfo sold in Sorrento - Italy some years ago

Slightly used. I bought convincted it was tootight, it is a tad wide. Borsalino sizes are always a puzzle!

Felt medium weight.

Color is "Noce" Fazarsca 39. It seems made during the fifties.

This is the interior with the embossed leather

German Paratrooper at a Museum while I was in Normandy or Bastogne. I like your pin Chamuco. While stationed in Germany in the mid 80's
I was befriended by an old German Paratrooper. We shared many meals and bottles of Whisky together. I asked him one day how he came to learn such good English. He replied," 3 years in an English POW camp." LOL!!
