Whindy and warm, by March standards anyway. So I'm feeling Whippety.

I hope it doesn't blow off whilst I'm traipsing around today.

I may shed the coat if it gets warm enough, and the rain holds off.

Is it gray or tan? Yes, it is, Mike.

Best described (in my opinion and color perception) as a warm gray/tan earth-tone kind color. Probably begs for a group shot next to other felts which are cooler or warmer, just to best compare.
The color under the Italian sky was a pale grey with a hint of pink.
This Borsalino has a very subtle color, very particular

Yes, that is a beautiful hat Daniele. Love the color and how it goes with your scarf.
Thanks Red. The scarf belong to my son ;)
Tonak made actually four-five models that are really interesting
Bigger brims are best!! But that could be the long US hats influence on me, Dan. This Tonak looks SO great; color, proportions, coordinated.
Thanks Charlie, finally you wear the Borsalino from Italy!
Bravo!

Classic triple threat: Penman Everyman Casablanca; goes great with my $10, new with tags (NWT) jacket. Snowing on and off this morning. A little later, we have a trip to the dentist for MrsFed's (hopefully) last appointment to finish up a tricky root canal.

Thank you guys, that's very kind of you to say. You are real gentlemen :)

After a brimless weekend, I needed something more substantial today. This hat was hand made by a talented German lady, who did a great job although she could perhaps use some pointers from @EstherWeis or @Kuki here on how to cut a brim with a steady hand, because it's a just tiny bit wobbly on occasion. It doesn't really show that much, but I have considered adding binding to make it look smoother. On the plus side, I really like the overall shape and the felt is of high quality, beautifully soft and pliable but without any of the annoying floppiness that plagues many modern women's hats.

The felt is fantastic for a mass production hat and the finish more than good

Have a nice Monday!

Thanks for the appreciation on the "unknown" German hat
I really like the navy blue hats, and this is an excellent example.

Sunny and warm in Barcelona today :)
Linen/cotton foldable hat... wrinkly but it's in its nature.

Almost broke my neck while writing this and climbing down the stairs to the metro at the same time.. survived unscathed.

An excellent ensemble, and I'm glad you didn't get hurt! Texting and walking can be dangerous...
