Stunning Celia! Just the right amount of swoop to that brim, stylish.Thank you guys, that's very kind of you to say. You are real gentlemen
After a brimless weekend, I needed something more substantial today. This hat was hand made by a talented German lady, who did a great job although she could perhaps use some pointers from @EstherWeis or @Kuki here on how to cut a brim with a steady hand, because it's a just tiny bit wobbly on occasion. It doesn't really show that much, but I have considered adding binding to make it look smoother. On the plus side, I really like the overall shape and the felt is of high quality, beautifully soft and pliable but without any of the annoying floppiness that plagues many modern women's hats.
Good looking hat Bob. Interesting hat band, as usual.View attachment 69140
Vintage Pinnacle today.
Sunny and crispy morning here in the East Italy
Second tour fot the new blue Tonak
More I see it more I like it
The felt is fantastic for a mass production hat and the finish more than good
You see the shades of blue color in sun and shadow
Have a nice Monday!
Thanks for the appreciation on the "unknown" German hat
Sweet Borsalino, is it grey or tan? Love the thin ribbon!Fat's where it's at, but THIN is IN this cold Monday morning. Thanks to the undercover international exchange with Daniele, a circa 1940s (?) Borsalino thin ribbon...

Very nice, looks like Spring has Sprung in Barcelona!Sunny and warm in Barcelona today
Linen/cotton foldable hat... wrinkly but it's in its nature.
Almost broke my neck while writing this and climbing down the stairs to the metro at the same time.. survived unscathed.

Beautiful cold Sunday! Many fabulous hats this past week.

Thanks , Red. I like this color combo too. The previous owner said it had a black ribbon... I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived.I love that color combo. My "Olcott" homburg has a navy ribbon with silvermist. It works well with a darker gray as well. A super hat!

Do we need to enforce safety regulations for hat postings? I'm glad you survived in that beautiful creation.Sunny and warm in Barcelona today
