I can't resist to wear a G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro "San Remo" of my last find
ilg0g4.jpg

It was made for the US market since it has the size 7 1/2.

Clearly it is not from the thirties, the body has an old label hitched and a new one over

Qualità Speciale. Color is "Dattero" as the one restored in BSHW, one of my favourite colors of Borsalino

It came from the seventies and the felt is medium thick and very peachy

With this G.B. Borsalino fu Lazzaro continues the enigmatic history of a brand that appears and disappears after that in 1936 the "rebels" of the Borsalino family have been tamed

Thanks for your compliments of yesterday's deep blue Thibet
Buon Mercoledì
Another very nice hat Daniele. And I think I forgot to comment yesterday that the blue Thibet is fantastic. A lovely bit of hat.

Capybara is similar but can be much larger. Definitely another rodent, I hear they are more popular in Venezuela.

Here's some cuy for sale at the market in Cuenca, Ecuador.

Back on topic, they're calling for rain again, so I'm wearing my Stratton western that Mike At NW Hats converted to a form fitted Outback style hat for me.

Before and after:

That is a great conversion.

Windy and cold with some snow coming later today. Apparently from Eric's direction. Knox Grafton

I need to return dvds to the library today. So old school. Ha ha.

Thank you - it wasn't. I found it in an antique store in Comfort, TX, and it was like new, but had a small cut in the brim edge. The price was more than right and Paris Hatters in San Antonio trimmed the brim at no change in less than two minutes. The felt is incredible and very soft - I just added the band from Outwest Saddlery (they also made the one on the old Stetson).
Nice looking Resistol, Robert. Doesn't look like it was worn much.
