The sun came out earlier during my walk, made me sweat up ny hat shirt and jacket, so 'tis a two-hat (and shirt and jacket) day. The Mallory Ten with a dye. Plus a G-1

Now it looks like rain again...:( Probably need to break out the trench.

Sent from thin air using electricity and other wizardry.
Did you pose for that T-Shirt? It is a real hoot! That Homburg is da bomb!!

Thank you kindly, although I can't take credit for this one as I inherited it from my grandfather.

It's identical inside to the one you posted today, but with a Shudde Bros marking:
You have a nice Borsalino hat and a great keepsake from your granddad. But with the open side seam on your liner and the lack of corrugated sweatband I'll bet dollars to donuts that your hat is newer than Moon's....Still a quality hat, just not identical.....

Thank you gentlemen! She's got some patina in person but in good shape overall. This one is certainly special to me, although he wore it with a cattleman's crease - I felt guilty rebashing it at first, but I wasn't wearing it otherwise - the super thin felt just didn't look right to me with that crease.

Thank you to the rest of you fine folks for the likes as well. I've been a lurker here for some time, but just joined a few days ago in order to help answer a member's question, so now I suppose I need to start pulling my weight - or at least to participate some instead of merely being a looky-loo!
You certainly know how to make an entrance

Super outfit today, Michael!
Thanks Fed. The jacket was a 44 cent find from yesterday's trip to ransom my car from the mechanic. 100% Wool and made in the USA.

Another great look today! That short jacket must mean the weather is in your favor! Love the color of that Peschel!
It was warmer this morning. But I rode downtown with my neighbor this afternoon to go to a lecture on Singer sewing machines and it was raining then. And raining when I came out to take the bus home. Not to worry I had on my Woolrich rain coat and Backhouse oiled cotton rain hat. I was dry as could be when I got home, but my clothes were anything but.
P1230059 by Michael A2012, on Flickr. I had to hang them in the shower for a couple of hours to drip off.

The Peschel does have some interesting color shifts. Sometimes it's quite blue gray and other times quite olive. A fun hat in any case and it enjoyed the outing this morning before the rains.

Thank you for your yesterday compliment!
Many wonderful hats.......

Even today it is still a medium-haired Borsalino

The hat has a ice-blue felt color. It is very soft and the ribbon is dark blue

Photographing it in two different lighting conditions you can clearly see the variety of tones

This Borsalino was for sale on the Italian market, many years ago, and arrived in Verona brand new

The day is sunny and the temperature rose over this morning

Good Wednesday the day dedicated to Mercurius
Wow!. That hat is AMAZING! "Ice blue" is exactly the right description!
