Thanks FedOregon! That is such a cool hat, Moe, and the shirt is perfect with it!
the search never ends my friend ...
Thanks! No markings or liner. The construction is somewhat primitive but not the components. It weighs 84 grams and a good bit of that is the sweatband.Very nice, indeed. Are there any markings or liner on this one? It sure is a beautiful hat.
Black Hat from my latest find probably later 1930s.
what's good tramps and vamps... been a while

We're with the Penman Parade today, Jeremiah! Looking ruggedly sharp for Sea World!
I just came back from the German and Austrian Hutmachers thread and saw your details. What a gem! Thanks! No markings or liner. The construction is somewhat primitive but not the components. It weighs 84 grams and a good bit of that is the sweatband.
the search never ends my friend ... it is out there somewhere waiting for you
The one he posted yesterday, The Penman with the 6 point diamond? Yes, isn't that a scorcher? I've seen his dark moss in person and the pics don't do it justice. I bought one like it off Mendel from The Netherlands... it's a touch small for me but I love it and wear it just a touch higher on my head. You see the Penman fresh off the presses that John put on his Instagram?

Thank you Celia! It's a chenille braid I bought in Paris, sewn with a straw sewing machine!Kookie, Kuki Is it stitched or knitted?
Thank you very much!!What a great way to start my morning: seeing all the awesome hats from yesterday. A special shout-out to @Kuki for the best hat ever.
Esther - love those colors together; subtle but striking.
Joao - That is your color, compadre. Black suits you well. Fabulous hat.
Wearing my Gannon (who has too many colors for my socioeconomic status) in Bone.

Thank you! The smirk was inevitable as I only had 3 floors on the elevator to get that shot right. That smirk goes with the hat wonderfully!

gorgeous
Wow, even better! I wish I had my grandfather's old dress hat... or even his old work hat, for that matter. I asked about it when he passed away but was basically told, "you're only 13, stop asking about it, kid; it's not for you."
Beautiful!
Awesome. Hey, I think my beard is catching up with yours. Slowly.what's good tramps and vamps... been a while

Much softer and more "bashable." To the "hand" it feels pounced abt the same as the Heritage grade which is bit finer then the Imperial grade. You will not regret purchasing a Stetsonian.
