Thank you for sharing such a personal photo. A wonderful photo of you and your father. Beautiful. Aside from the hats, it's just so bella, Cristina. Muchisimas gracias.Great looks from everyone braving the cold! Here I am with my dad's Stetson. He must have bought it in the late 80's. The strip of b&w pics on the background are of him taken by my brother.
It has a nice pleated pugaree.
Bought in Barcelona's oldest hat shop.
And here we are together in Paris, april 1991, two months before he died of cancer.

Thanks Daniele. I'm really rather liking that "western" hat. I like the brim size and crown size. Thanks Michael, your "western" hat is a goodie on your combo
I hope to see you more springy!
Thanks Celia. Unfortunately the world seems to be conspiring against my hat happiness. My car decided it wanted to go to the shop today, at a cost of several hats. Ha ha.Good to hear it. You know the hats here will aid your recovery
Thanks some more Daniele. I was very happy that I decided to go with the fur hat today as my car decided I really wanted to spend a couple of hours walking for my errands today. The hat may actually be Russian as it has no markings at all. But then the pants may be too. They are fulled wool and ex-army from some northern European country. The labels are worn away. All together it was a great combination for the damp winter weather today.Fantastic Michael, more Russian than American in this attire (except pants and shoes)!
Super nice, Steve!!Förster "Saturn Pat.", Old Wool Soft Felt in the rain!

Sweet tweed, Eric. Classic!!
Does the ribbon on that Stetson have horizontal lines or is that a trick of the light?
Three hat day already then? Some really nice caps on here today. I love the diamond weave on this one, don't see that around very often.
Great photos of your father's hat and of you and your father. So nice to have such great memory cues.Great looks from everyone braving the cold! Here I am with my dad's Stetson. He must have bought it in the late 80's. The strip of b&w pics on the background are of him taken by my brother.
