When I leave at 9:30pm tonight it is expected to be back around -10F. I am staying bundled.

Thanks bAm. I've been re-watching Foyle's War and really like the hats favored by Foyle and other police officers. Slight downturn in the front, slight upturn in the rear and a bit of shape to the sides of the brim. This hat just naturally seems to want that shape. By the way, I watched the first season on Peaky Blinders. I've got my supply of razor blades laid in, but I'm having trouble deciding which cap looks deadliest.

I really like that Pilgrim Michael. The whole outfit is so appropriate for the arctic blast that is gripping some of our loungers. You are an example to us all my friend!

Thanks Red. I stayed mostly warm on my outing today. Now I'm back toasting my cold tootsies at home. I should have worn the pac boots.

Suweet. Great pockets and buttons. Super 120s wrinkles fairly easily, so keep it on a good hanger. And enjoy it. Will be great with one of your bashed up hommies.

If I braid or tuck my beard I get a totally different look with any of my hats than I do wearing it combed out.

I agree with the minimalist look for eyeglasses. I don't understand wearing the latest designer frames with a vintage looking fedora or western hat. The shape of the lens has to work with the shape of your face also. So minimalist is definitely the way to go.

It's a contrast thing.

Cold today, dropping to 18F tonight. Cold for this area anyway.

MMBarnes and BlueAZNmonkey keep beating the Homburg drum so I relented and went with my only Homburg, a Cavanagh in 7-3/8 LO that fits me perfectly... which is rare for an off-the-shelf hat and my egghead. Thanks again to NewJack for giving me the opportunity to snag this beautiful lid.
