Super hat, and a fantastic outfit. You should be paid for your pictures by the makers of the hats, jackets, shoes, clothes... you look fabulous and could be in advertising/modeling. You simply look off the charts perfect!

Ten degrees here, so balmy compared to Eric. I'm wearing my Pilgrim, but it ain't enough hat.

Guess which I prefer.

Many fine hats showing up here today.

I really like that Pilgrim Michael. The whole outfit is so appropriate for the arctic blast that is gripping some of our loungers. You are an example to us all my friend!

Lock & Co for me again. Left the house so early that my mind was too mush to remember to snap a photo =P

Side note: My wife is a twelfth grade high school teacher and a few of her students have recently become my hat-fan-boys. It started when they asked me if I had seen that video of 2 Chainz (a famous hip hop artist) trying on a $25K W&W panama. I told them I had seen the video and then gave them my thoughts (which were lively and opinionated indeed). As a result, they've asked me to come in and give a lecture on how to steam and crease a hat, which we scheduled for this weekend. Should be lots of fun! =)

I really love this cap, that material is to die for!

Thanks sir. Check out Damian's offerings as he offers them at very reasonable prices. https://www.facebook.com/Monsivais-Co-250555621788683/?fref=ts .

The modern cap makers, Damian and the many others, have some really spectacular fabrics/models. Ingineer, forum member, just received a "Quiet Man" cap(Cordova Cap) that is truly special. Cordova Cap is offering a specula on caps at the moment - https://www.facebook.com/search/top/?q=cordova handmade caps . Potentially good deals to be had at this time of year.

Cheers sir. best, Eric -

Another one, out of the park! You're the home run King, Michael! Love the hat, tie, sweater... all of it!

You will have a great responsibility my friend! Teach them about what a "real" hat is. Your Hommies will influence the young hommies! Start a new trend with these young minds full of mush, the civility of wearing fine men's headwear! Report back to the loungers with your results.

I agree -- big responsibility! I used to teach at that school as well so I understand just how bad young men's fashion has gotten.

Actually, correction over my initial post. They really got a sense for my hat enthusiasm when I donated all of my woollies to their class. They are my wife's journalism students, and they wanted an informal noir-ish uniform to wear when covering their beats. Anyway -- I will report back with the results! I'm sure these students will leave the lecture as certified hat-fanatics.

Cold today, dropping to 18F tonight. Cold for this area anyway.

MMBarnes and BlueAZNmonkey keep beating the Homburg drum so I relented and went with my only Homburg, a Cavanagh in 7-3/8 LO that fits me perfectly... which is rare for an off-the-shelf hat and my egghead. Thanks again to NewJack for giving me the opportunity to snag this beautiful lid.

I was noticing that jacket Matt and was hoping for some good pictures of it.

Michael
Your wish is my command.

The fluorescent lighting in the last photo washes out the color. The others more accurately represent it. The first is the best, though.

It's not just wool, it's "Super 120" wool.

Groovy.
