Yes, real fur. Very thick and very warm fur, but don't ask me what kind. It has a quilted lining with some sort of dense insulation behind it. And most importantly it covers my ears.

Great look Perry. I have a Woolrich vest in those colors and pattern, but it's more of an outdoor model. I'm really starting to warm up to Stetsonians.

It's really dark brown with a black ribbon. Dark enough to be pretty damn versatile. Matches almost everything
