Had to run some errands this morning, so my go-to hat was a Stephen L Stetson stingy. It is old, just how old I'm not sure.
Your hat goes into the "That's insane" pile with Rick's.modern Borsalino catches Wednesday's precipitation

Ya got kind of a Lord's Hat vibe going on. Love it.Great hats all around today. Cool to see the Stetsonian ripple across the land. Thanks for all of your kind words about mine.
While Knotten is suffering in a 15° windchill, it is 75° here. Too warm for a wool suit. So after my morning business, I stopped by home for a change. I'm lucky to work somewhere that sometimes I can dress like I don't really give a c#@}. Today, I feel like that (except for the hat, anyway). I figure that I gave enough of a c#@} earlier.
Decided to two hattify the day with an old lightweight Adam homburg with a really nifty brim.View attachment 61507View attachment 61508
Hope that each of you has a great remainder of the day. [emoji6]

Thanks, I had Mike at NW Hats replace the old boring ribbon with a contrasting color. It has a classy bow treatment as well.Nice. I dig that mid-width ribbon very much.
Yep... Toss that one into the "That's insane" pile, too.Borsalino "misto" in palomino... purchased in Des Moines, Iowa not very long after the end of WWII.
He did a beautiful job. Contrasts really well with the felt...Thanks, I had Mike at NW Hats replace the old boring ribbon with a contrasting color. It has a classy bow treatment as well.

Nice Borsa Anthony. What color is it?
.
I like that color.thanks Perry
it is listed as "light gray" but it looks a bit more blue than gray to me ... depending on what light you have it in
Thanks, Moe. I'm not sure. I'll have to defer to the better informed.Nice piece. Is that 30's?
I think it is, it's the Butterfield Express Resistol Stagecoach.I think that one in the second shot is the one I'd like to give a try, if I'm not mistaken.
Plus, I think that the lighting in that shot is very cool.
Groovy.
I have that same size tag on my Adam Panama and when I went through the library thread the only one I saw with that particular tag was attributed to the thirties. But, small sample sizes make for inaccurate results so I was hoping you had more info to better pinpoint that tag's use. Thanks, Moe. I'm not sure. I'll have to defer to the better informed.
It does have the same trappings of my THE POLAR. I have had it suggested to me that THE POLAR was likely 1930s and may have been one of Adam's promotional hats of the month that I understand they used to advertise to drum up business. Neat gimmick.
Take it easy.
