Today is November 22. One of those days that will live in infamy for those of us of a certain age, that recall exactly where they were when they heard the news back in 1963. He wore a CAVANAGH, despite the rumors of hatless John Kennedy. This is from the approximate era.

Side note to anyone who lacks the confidence to wear brown with navy... He did!!
The imprint historical event. Every generation has one, whether it be Pearl Harbor or 9/11, I always ask my Oral History subjects about theirs. I remember the JFK day like it was yesterday, the first time I ever saw my father cry.

Back in the office today wearing an inexpensive (and very dusty!) Jaxon Raiders clone.

The hat looks good and the beard is coming along nicely. Great tie too.

Shoveling a couple inches of wet new snow before my commute. A Damian Monsavias cap was put to the test. Grade = excellent.

Best, Eric -

How are the roads? My sister is supposed to be driving down here from Maple Grove this morning. Great cap by the way. And I'm glad it's rain here instead of white rain.

Man! I love that thing! Can I steal it?

I'm afraid I'm being boring again...

Michael; Thanks for the thumbs up. As to roads, tell your sister to drive carefully. The snow has left the metro and surrounding area slick with wet snow. Abnormal temps have us just below freezing - better to be cold than tis temp. By afternoon all should be back to winter normal.

Safe travels to all Fedora Lounge folks this US Thanksgiving Holiday!

Happy Wednesday and Thanksgiving eve to those in the U.S. Spoke to my friend last night. While he could not reply verbally, the nurse says he was able to give the thumbs up. That's cool. Thanks for all the good vibes.

Gonna bide my time in the office today working and thinking about things I'm grateful for while listening to very loud Grateful Dead live from 02/18/71. Then the family and I drive to my folks' house.

Crofut & Knapp Forty circa '50s, Cavanagh edge. A few years back Bond did a lovely job choosing and replacing the ribbon and wind trolley. Thanks, Bond.

Pretty, sunny, chilly morning.
