Also -- thanks for all the uplifting things everyone passed my way last week. Unfortunately, the wife and I found out for sure on Friday that we had a miscarriage. Our spirits were pretty low after we got the news, but we're doing much better now.

They say that happens to about 1/3 of us, Blue, but I'd bet maybe more. Keep your hat(s) on, keep your heads up, and CARRY ON, sir.

It was dark and drizzly this morning so I grabbed the LL Bean/Stetson Moose River again. It was out and handy so it was an easy choice. Now it's sunny outside and I wish I had my less-used-cuz-NW Hats-conversion Akubra Coober Pedy in Sand with me. I posted before that I best be pulling out the Akubra before she gets jealous!

We found the first hat I ever made...
I'm pretty sure I already knew back then that fire engine red wasn't my color. Oh well, it could have been worse.

That first shot gave me my first real smile of the day. Thanks for that. That hat looks cute, stylish, warm and fuzzy. Your fire engine red first try ain't too bad either.

No matter what life throws at me, it's always a bit better when I'm under a hat. Got one of those middle of the night communications none of us like to get. My Colorado childhood best friend who was so sick earlier this year has landed himself back in ICU on a ventilator (and his mom has been diagnosed with cancer!). Ugh. Bummer.

Life is fragile. So, once again, I'm reminded on this early Tuesday morning to take no thing, no moment and no person for granted. I guess that's a good thing. Tapatalk is acting wacky, so I'm not sure how the text and photos in my post will appear. Oh well...

Have a fun day and thanks for throwing great hats at my eyeballs!

Stetson Premier Vita-Felt.
