A wonderful photo to accompany difficult news. I think you will be surprised to learn how many around you have shared this experience. I know we were. Sending good vibrations to you and your new bride.
Your daughter looks so much like her beautiful mama...
Thanks. Fantastic Borsalino.Stunning.
Has she started to collect vintage hats? If so all hope is lost.Thank you Esther - very true, though it is certainly a huge cauldron of genes and different traits bubble up to the surface all the time. The younger one keeps telling me how many times during the day she realizes that she is me. I hold her hand and tell her it will be OK.
Steve, that's a gorgeous Homburg.PH. Möckel Hutfabrik, Homburg vor der Höhe, probably early 1900s. This is the hat company that made the first Homburg Hat for Edward VII of England. They went out of business in 1932.

Beautiful Borsalino, buddy.Playing copy-cat with Daniele today. Borsa hommie:
Also -- thanks for all the uplifting things everyone passed my way last week. Unfortunately, the wife and I found out for sure on Friday that we had a miscarriage. Our spirits were pretty low after we got the news, but we're doing much better now.
That's gorgeous! I love.
Tommy, thanks. Yes, I believe we three all have one. It is a fantastic hat.
Love the "muflone" colored Borso, Harv. What a great pinch on that. These ultra thin felts really take a great shape. What I like even better is that I don't have to be jealous because I have one too! I believe rclark has one as well
Oooo. I'm jealous.Resistol 15 with a cav. edge .

Love the look with the cashmere overcoat!Another cold day. Guess I'd better get used to it.
Silver label Lee Edgelee today. Steam isn't quite doing the trick to get it to hold shape. Needs a proper reblocking. But I like this hat nonetheless.
