Thanks for all of the kind words yesterday about hats and other things. You folks are good ones.

Up and out early because the cats were angry at me for running out of cat food. I gave them dog food, but they weren't having any of it. Snobs!

After returning home I donned the '40s teal Game Bird mainly to verify that the stretch has held. All is good. So it will accompany me for my Friday labors.

In one of the shots I kind of have the "stink-eye" going. I include it to further dissuade Red from trying to take me on in the octagon for that green Dobbs (when it comes down to it, I'm a hippie wimp and he'd probably handily kick my butt). Great look today, Michael. I really like that Grafton, and the putty-like quality of the felt shows in the pinches. I'm envious.

No light, foggy and humid. No sky

Fifth Borsalino of the week dedicated to "Antica Casa di Alessandria"

It was non in good shape when arrived

It was restored in the US. Bob at BSHW did a wonderful work

New blue ribbon (the old one was grey) with original design of the bow and sweatband made in USA

Grey felts Qualità Superiore, light and supple with brim finished with three stitches for the Friday Borsalino
I have also another copy of this hat in the original Borsalino "dress".
I will show one of these days

It's also my real first time properly wearing it. My Borsalino Alessandria. I was happily surprised to see that it is similar yet different from my strat of a similar color.

Thank you sir. It is a nice bit of felt for a later model hat. That is a very spiffy first hat you have in the Churchill. My first hat from my return to wearing hats in under repair orders at the moment.
