Hey buddy !!!! You found it !!! The Highlands Tequila !! The elusive nectar of the highlands of Jalisco !!

I am very happy for you.

That is just what Tequila must taste, just the tastes, shades and smell it gets from the land, from 8 to 10 years it took the Agave Azul Tequilana Weber to grow mature....

This tequila is still made in what we call "reflective clay and ceramic oven" it takes a while to be "cooked", and, being white, it gets nothing from a cask of wood that was previously used for aging Brandy, Cherry or, even, scotch.

I hope you like it, straight in a Cognac coup, Riedel made a special wine glass for tequila, but, even here, those are hard to find, but I normally drink it out of a Cognac Cup, it helps the tequila breathing process and enhances its qualities..

Darn I want one now, I am salivating....but I am at the Trampoline Park with my kids now !!

Enjoy my friend !!!

Your apology is like mother nature apologizing for giving us beautiful sunsets day after day. You have a seriously lovely hat there.

Be well... Be kind... Have fun!

Thanks Chamuco. I know what you mean about salivating...I think I'll have an early dinner tonight to get that out of the way! I'll post some tasting notes on the other thread.

Sweet hat!

mighty fine piece of artillery right there Rick

Beautiful OR Rick!

Pristine!

Fantastic, Rick. Your ORs are some of the cream of the crop.

Thanks for all of the nice compliments on the Open Road. That's means a lot coming from the likes of yiu guys! It's a favorite for sure!

Changed to an OR for the afternoon.

I'm a LO so a regular hat jack needs to be trimmed down on the sides.
I'm 7 5/8 XLO. The advice I got, from Cindy IIRC, was to use the next size down. The screw is long enough and it does a fine job for me.

My other plan is to create a wooden form from this custom pattern to keep my hats at that perfect fit.
I have the same idea, in two modes. One would be to put it on a stand. The other would be to hang it from the wall with a little shelf inside for sunglasses, e.g. the red lenses with the red ribboned Gus Miller and the brown lense with the brown Christy. Same might be down if you want to coordinate gloves or scarf, too, I think.

Thank Don !! He does feel bad....to young to get a couple of tequila shots and forget about the cold

Back in the olden days, even teens could have a hot toddy for a cold. Heck, we rubbed bourbon on our kids' gums when they were teething, then drank the rest. :)

They heal quickly at that age. Sorry for him it hit on a weekend.
