Today at noon gray with a few drops of rain almost frozen.

In the mountains at one thousand meters above sea level, it snows and you feel the cold arriving along the valleys.

Let the black, momentary, for a deep blue in tone with the jacket

Mayser production years 1963
A classic German superb production (a trade with Manfred, thanks again)
Felt is very nice, it finished with a touch of peach

The hike to get to the house was lovely and moist

Happy Friday to everyone

Thanks for the likes on the black Beaver Brand

The Stagecoach pin probably worths more than the hat itself.

I think I'll keep the pin with the hat. While I'm not a huge western fan I do like this Stagecoach quite a lot.

Looking mighty fine Micheal! love the tweed stuff!

Thank you sir. I'm a big fan of tweed. And certainly an admirer of your style and elan.

I'm sticking with the tweed today as it's cold and windy and I just want to. A Kevin McAndrew of quite a different nature than the one Harv was sporting the other day. Donegal tweed trilby.

The predicted high of 55 with 14 mph north wind will make for a cool bike ride today. If I can talk myself into getting out.

I'm hoping the heavy sweater and Orvis shooting jacket in Harris Tweed will keep me warm.

Some mighty fine hats showing up here again today.

Recognizing Veteran's and Armistice Day under an old Stetson Vita-Felt Stetsonian that may very well have been put together when so many great men and women were serving in WWII. Many thanks to all veterans and to Rick who was kind enough to direct this hat my way.

I kind of overloaded on similar angled shots 'cause I liked the way the different lighting plays on the hat. I hope that no one is enraged by my taking that liberty. ;)

Michael,

I gave up smoking tobacco some years back. But when I see your posts, for some reason I often have the urge to sit down next to a roaring fire, pack a pipe full of tobacco and sit back to read some Sherlock Holmes. It is a comforting thought.

Thanks for that.

Matt

Thanks Matt. I, too, gave up smoking tobacco a couple of years ago. I am, unfortunately, still addicted to the vaporized nicotine dispensing device. The weather here today would be very conducive to a roaring fire and some Sherlock. I can't think how many times I've read the stories. Or how many times I've watched the old Jeremy Brett starring series. I think I may have to pick up a few episodes on dvd when I go to the library today. And I really need to buckle down and make myself a nice Inverness.

That is a mighty fine hat you are wearing today. As usual.

I too still vape, but am working on giving that up, too.

The Jeremy Brett series is marvelous. And here is some happy news: you can watch every last one of them online for free here: http://www.dailymotion.com/user/Peach_Cider/1

Enjoy.

Cool Beans. I'll have to do a quality comparison of the streaming vs the dvd std definition upscaled by my blu-ray and then further upscaled by my 4K tv.

I'm trying to talk myself into giving up vaping, but it hasn't been going well.
