Hey all!
Many thanks for the likes and comments on yesterday's hat and shirt combo.
Today, on a much sunnier day, the Optimoe with a new thin ribbon and a Cooke Street Hawaiian shirt with a print of foliage more commonly seen in SoCal. However, if you close your eyes halfway, it resembles greenery often found up here in the North. If you frequently go about with your eyes half closed, you may already be familiar with that particular species.
Anyhoo, TARred, but not feathered, the Optimoe!

I've had this Stetson OR for around a year now. It's too small for me (7). I had every intention of re-sizing it. However, with every hat I "wanted" to re-size, once I got them in my hands I realized how nice they were, I didn't want to turn them into something else.

This one probably sat in the box for most of its life. It's MINT. It not only has the original price tag on the cardboard size tag, but it also has the price sticker from the original store where it was sold, St. Clair's Men's Store in Owatonna, MN. It's still in operation today! It's an easy re-size to 7 1/4; I'm on the fence with it. Size it or sell it?

With all transparency [senator], I've taken a few photos and positioned the hat to "look" like it fits.

If you really like it and want to wear it, I would resize it. If you're not that fond of it, sell it.
That's how I handle those sticky situations.

Great minds, my friend...

And just what is that hat, sir? It's gorgeous.

I think "Optimoe" is my favorite of your hat names.

Thanks for the compliments.
It is a Royal Stetson with no name markings of any kind anywhere on it. Maybe one of you can say what it is from something in the photos. Porter's Birmingham AL is the store stamp.
