The season has finally arrived. Black fly season, that is!!! Returned late yesterday from our first weekend of the year in northern Vermont, where we had no cell service, no landline, and no internet. So here are the lids that kept me covered...
Black Sheep, in pecan

Vermonters are very earthy... organic, multi-breed eggs, like one green one, for ham!

Boy, oh boy... That looks like a heavenly place (black flies and all) to wear some heavenly hats.

Today arrived my vintage Ramenzoni homburg. Ramenzoni was a brazilian hat factory that ended its activities in 1971. The brand Ramenzoni was acqurided by another brazilian hat maker, Chapéus Vicente Cury (Chapéus Cury) that continued to produce some model with that name. This homburg is a pre 1971. They are very rare to find. Unfortunately I couldn't find any information about the actual production year. It's in very good condition, my number (57) and fits perfect. :D

It is air conditioned! I'll have to give you a look under the sweatband... there are micro-coolant tubes and small battery packs for year round comfort. [emoji6]
