I was looking for something that looked like Barney Fife's hat

A worthy goal!

When looking for a hat to include in a trade with a fellow lounger I remembered this hat ... Dug it out... and fell back in love with it

I've been watering the bush and throwing felt dust in the soil from Alan and 40s hat collection ... I see small buds... I'm hoping this time it grows a thin ribbon Borsalino of the same vintage as this Stratoliner

Thanks Rick. It photographs huge for some reason..... 2 3/4" according to my tape measure. I love this hat.

My New Akubra Capricorn in Tawny, I will call it Tawny Olive, great hat, much,nicer than the Stetson Strat Milan Poly, this one looks like a straw hat all the way, kind of a hemp like look.

Very happy..
