What age group is she playing? I've got a daughter that plays 12U fastpitch and a son that plays high school baseball and summer travel ball. Our lives revolve around the diamond!
She's 8 years old, all the girls are 7 or 8. It's a one-step-above-tee-ball league, with a Dad or Mom pitching and an "everyone wins" attitude. These kids are so little they're barely able to warm one end of the bench. More cute than sporting at this level.

That's awesome! The most stressful job I've ever had was the coach that was the "pitcher" when my kids played coach pitch ball!

Dunlap duplex hat for a summery spring day.

Thanks for posting the real deal Alan!

I'm on the road & was just lucky enough to find some decent WiFi & see your post. One of the all time great lids here.

Just spent a couple days having fun with our friend Che in San Francisco & also got to briefly meet fedoralover while in Eugene last weekend. Still a long ways from home so will have a lot to catch up on when I return.

Like Che always says: "stay hatted" everybody!

Nice Hat Alan , Texas Hatters in Lockhart makes a version , other than their video , that's the first one I've seen .

My New Akubra Capricorn in Tawny, I will call it Tawny Olive, great hat, much, nicer than the Stetson Strat Milan Poly, this one looks like a straw hat all the way, kind of a hemp like look.

Very happy..

Chamuco , Looks like you were in a fight and the other guy lost ! Stucker punched , but like you finished what he started ! Glad you're Okay !

Sometimes hats get forgotten and lost in the shuffle of stacks of hat boxes

When looking for a hat to include in a trade with a fellow lounger I remembered this hat ... Dug it out... and fell back in love with it

40s era Strat today in a lovely color

Beautiful Fedora my fav style, fav color, what is the Brim size...visited their website, it seems they are Custom only and very vague on pricing, did you buy yours as Special Custom order ???
The hat is fantastic and you show it very well, Bravo....
Thank you Bolero! For further info abt Major Mike Moore and his hats, I believe there's a dedicated thread here called Buckaroo Bonanza. Its western weight felt. The brim is 3 in. I bought it from a Fellow Lounger on the classfieds.

Great start to the week so far in hat eye-candy land.

For whatever reason, I seem to be on a Knox kick early this week.

Today I am going with the raw edge Knox Premier Fifth Avenue. This was one of the first vintage hats that I purchased. And it continues to hold a special place in my heart.

Eric and Mike - thank you! I look forward to seeing some photos from your trip to San Fran, Mike.

Michael R... these duplex hats seem to have run a course in the 1920s. This one is later - not sure how much later. 1940s perhaps. Art Fawcett made some fine modern interpretations a few years back.
