I thought I had seen some on the thin ribbon thread or in an old Stetson Advertisement, but have not found them yet. I will continue the search.

Looks like some of the late '40s "Casuals" in the Life Magazine Stetson Ad thread, but it is hard to see the ribbon details in the ads.

Well, believe it or not,it was 36° F this morning !!!

But those palm trees look nice even at 30 °F !!!

Bob; I thought so too. I agree the Magazine pages I have seen, on the web, have not been definitive. I continue my search. For now I am calling it a Stetson Casual. Happy Holidays sir. Eric -

FYI: I have been looking thru Life Magazine's 1945-47 for the Stetson Ad's (Google books). Casuals in many felt colors had different brim ribbons and ribbons. Some VERY interesting combos. I suspect your supposition, Stetson Casual, may be correct.
