Thank you.
What does "high fenders" mean?

Brim turned up high & sharply on the sides. Roper's out in West Texas do it so their lariats will clear the brim. There's no earthly reason for anyone else to do it.

getting compliments from one of the best there is ... doesn't really get better than that on a forum

... if that was directed toward me that is ...

if not I'll just pretend it was

No Pretending, Moon; Alan's right on! You deserve accolades from all directions. Darned respectable collection of top shelf felt, and you wear them properly.

Thanks for the digital thumbs up folks.

The HAT SHOW ROCKS OF LATE!

Eric,I have a Royal Stetson just like that one, also doesn't have a model name. Nice hat!

Thanks Perry, I do recall your hat. Back at you - like the hat. I thought I had seen some on the thin ribbon thread or in an old Stetson Advertisement, but have not found them yet. I will continue the search.

On with the show.

I agree with Manfred agreeing with Perry, and I'm sure you all must concur...

It's good to see Manfred make his return, too!

And I agree with Alan, Moon makes music with those fab lids!

There's a whole lot to agree on here today!! Right?!?!

I agree!
Two hat day for me today. First a trip downtown in my new to me Mallory Dallas

Then off to take my wife to lunch in a go-to hat, this green Dalton

Hey everyone!
Great show of felt today, everyone is pulling out all the stops,
Wearing my new velour Borsalino Antica Casa traveller on Tyrol Tuesday. This thing is so soft it's crazy. Sorry about the pics, it's a hard one to photograph in lousy light.

How long do I have to stay cheerful about the rain? I know we need it, but I am starting to feel like a mushroom.
Have a great day!
