Strapped – Awesome look today. That no name looks perfect.

Mmbarnes – that is a beautiful hat. Did you do that yourself? Well done.

NYC - Casual Tuesday? Nicely done. How’d the writing project go?

MGbullitt – That is one beautiful hat.

Casechopper – sharp as always.

g.durand – beautiful color on that hat. Glad you are wearing the Borso. It is unbelievably light. I’m pretty sure it is early ‘40’s. Has the Borsalino on the inside tag.

VMT – Looks like you’ve got the world on a string. Sharp ensemble this morning.

Strat this morning. Warming up, but for this transplanted Floridian, still too cold.

No. I lack the skill. Bond converted it and did a beautiful job.

Miami B., Tommy K, thanks guys. I appreciate the comments. So far, my Grandson loves fedoras! Gotta keep his interest going!

Ha! He definitely smiles a lot more than I do! I need to get a shirt just like his!

Yes. Definitely start them young. So far, he loves wearing them.
Indeed, one of my kids is already a hat lover

Spring - cheers!

Warmer day and sunshine - yea! The weather is perfect for my Pendleton Board shirt and a VS Executive (silver belly colored felt) to keep me warm and sty'n for my yard chores.

The hat keeps on tick'n. I, in contrast, am whooped. Best, Eric -

Eric, that VS Executive looks so fine, I'd have a hard time wearing it to do chores of any kind!! One of my favorite ribbon treatments!!!

Miami, my writing project is almost done. It's been about a year. The heavy editing is 95% done. Then line editing, and in a week or two, off the the proofreader. Next stop, the publisher!!

I have to show accord with GregNYC about doing yard chores in such a beautiful hat...

I think I understand why someone might do chores in a VS. It is at least possible to replace, as opposed to some Eric's vintage hats which may not be. I've got a slightly beat up Open Road I use for such purposes having nearly abandoned the Akubras I used to use for such things.

Harv, that 3X Resistol is also a pretty nice hat for a "shop hat"

Trying my hand today at a fedora crease on my Open Road. But somehow it doesn't feel like an Open Road to me without the Cattleman's crease. It's irrational I know, but I feel like I'm betraying the hat. It's why you should own more than one, right?

Art's hats are rugged and more than capable of being worn for chores in all kinds of weather.

Harv - the Resistol is a great hat with a ton of character

JDave - an Open Road is a nice well balanced hat regardless of the crease. Yours looks good today.

Alan - that is a very nice Clear Nutria. I'm heading to the tundra in Vermont this weekend, so back to the cold.

Mid 80's in Ft Worth today, wearing my Portis milan
