Steve, that blue ribbon is exquisite. It seems to bring out blue tones in the velour.

GD, all I can say is, like a magazine ad!

Vmtrevino - my wife wonders the same thing. Great ad too!!!

Dale, nice to see you! The shape of that Resistol - it brings back memories. I had one like it as a youngster, given by my grandfather. I was about 11yrs old so I don't remember the brand. But it was the same era for sure!!

TJ, Steve, Greg, and Joao thanks for the comments on the Resistol. According to the paper label that came in the hat (sadly now sweated out) the straw is protected by their patented 'vinylcote' process, which I suppose would account for it keeping its shape after all these years.

Nice 'burg MMBarnes. It must not be too chilly, you've got the top down.

S-4-C that's a good looking straw, and you certainly cannot beat a good thrift store find. I have several myself. Enjoy the spring weather before the storms roll through.

GD the BGCD looks great! I like the crease you've got going, sort of a hybrid pinch front/cattleman. Works great with the levis jacket. Sharp.

Nice selection Joao. The 'Motorhead' hat is cool, you have the hair and shades to really rock it.

Thanks to all who commented on the Mallory Milan and OR straw from yesterday.

Miamibruno, yes, I was sporting the recently acquired Borso on Saturday.

So many hats have been posted since then that I would be up way beyond my bedtime commenting on them all, so I'll just say "well done, gents", and put in this late night, West Coast addition.

Akubra Campdraft, bluegrass green edition.

If I recall that vinylcote process was their way to waterproof the straw/shangtung and to easy cleaning.

Thank you Dale. If Lenny had a beard... ;)

Love the flat brim on that campdraft. Is that the special FL edition with smaller brim or the standard?

Strapped – Awesome look today. That no name looks perfect.

Mmbarnes – that is a beautiful hat. Did you do that yourself? Well done.

NYC - Casual Tuesday? Nicely done. How’d the writing project go?

MGbullitt – That is one beautiful hat.

Casechopper – sharp as always.

g.durand – beautiful color on that hat. Glad you are wearing the Borso. It is unbelievably light. I’m pretty sure it is early ‘40’s. Has the Borsalino on the inside tag.

VMT – Looks like you’ve got the world on a string. Sharp ensemble this morning.

Strat this morning. Warming up, but for this transplanted Floridian, still too cold.
