Thanks John and Perry. I know it must be a good one, because our old friend Aureliano would like to have it. He always had a good eye for good hats. :)

I wore it in NYC when we had a chance to enjoy dinner together.

Wow. Spend three days in a theatre and see what you miss: a birth, a doctor’s visit, and barbeque in Houston (by the way g.durand was that your recently purchased Borsalino?), a shoutout from HistoryTeach, grandkids, awesome straw hats, and a great song.

Don’t have pictures of the Borsalino or Berteil I wore this weekend, but here’s my Monday morning Stetson 20. And, oh yeah, it snowed again today as President Obama drove by in a motorcade for the Edward Kennedy Institute dedication this morning. Pretty cool.

T-Jones - Awesome picture. However, he has a smile so I'm not really too sure that he's related to you. I bet you gave him the shirt as well.

vmtrevino - Sharp homburg.

Great hats today and over the weekend! Everyone is so well hatted.

Alan, That Bantam is especially nice. As is Miami's 20 and Hato's Adam and G Enzo's Cavanagh and Greg's Johnny Tweed and Fruno's 3x (Big Wow and is that a backbow?) and Case's CRM and Vs and S4C's Stetson cap (love those flecked tweeds) and Daniele's American Legend and Chamuco's pith helmet and T Jones's Grandson (good to start them young) and vmt2's classic great Homburg.

Good afternoon. I had a moment waiting for my lunch to finish on the barbecue so I broke open a vtg. 40's and a vg. 50's Stetson Stratoliner (both in grey) to wear around. I have one in a gentle teardrop and another in the C crease (steamed in). I have always assumed they would look different on and have the creases "established." After looking at the shots, not much difference to my eye. I admit the C-crown has been stored in a vtg. Strat. box and has a lot more brim curl as a result. Both have almost the same gray shade and the same brim width. Block label shows them starting in the same shape.

Both hats ():

My wife teases me that only I notice small hat differences. She has a point as evidenced by todays post.

Best, Eric -
