Fantastic vintage milans G.Durand, hats-R-me, and Rogera!!!! And a sweet new one Javadave. Roger I can't believe you are old enough to be a grandpa.

DJH that's the perfect hat for your new scenery.

Joao, great westerns. I'm really liking your new Biltmore.

Enzo, cool Cav and great photo! I enjoy your Japan pics as much as the hat pics. I need to get to the city garden here this week and see the cherry blossoms myself.

Mmbarnes, great pork pie! Like the wider brim!
Daniele, that is a nice looking Borso.
Eric, super Strat. I agree, vintage felts are excellent in the rain. The Main street has a fantastic ribbon!
Javadave, looking good man. How do you like the straw Strat?
Matt, I really like your Strat. That one was a total score!
David, like the dualist! Good to see it again! Your Stetson 25 is one of.my favs.
Michael, wow! Nice Mallory! Super pug on that one! Like the OR straw as well.
Charlie, two beauties. The ribbon on the Churchill.
Joao, three show stoppers!
Roger, awesome!! Hawaiian shirt and Milan time! Great Dobbs.
Guardian, lovely Cavanagh!!

Good morning. Rarely do I take the time to post in the AM. While I wear headgear many would appreciate, I am wearing my coach costume. Not exactly the styl'n gear. Often if I have to run to a store I am asked if I do construction or dry-wall as I am covered in chalk dust. This morning while opening the gm for early morning practice, I am capped in my "Newest Fashion Cap," Milwaukee WI. Best of the morning to all.

Eric -

During basketball season my girls always tease me because I would be seen wearing adidas track pants, a hoodie and a vintage 40's stratoliner. I would always responded that the strat looks so good it doesn't matter what else I was wearing lol.

I didn't have time to check in or even post anything this weekend. I'm really glad to see some Milans, they give me hope that the weather will change here too. Actually it is getting warmer somewhat in NYC.

Here's a woolly tweed from Johnny....

I agree that is a tough audience. Strat's rule!

Greg; Cap and waistcoat are dynamite together. Like you and your tailor had some secret meetings and shazam....stye.

Rogera, looks like you're having fun. Nice Milan!

Nice Cavanagh Guardian Enzo. The hat on the lady behind you looks very oversized is this how they wear them there?

I spent some time last night catching up on all of the great hats worn over the weekend. So many nice pictures to look at!

I'm looking a bit ragged this morning after a full weekend of family camping in frigid temps. Took the day off to reorganize our gear and get it packed away again, along with running a few errands. This black and white flecked Stetson cap does a great job of keeping my head warm today.

Joao, I really like the open crown Buckhorn.
It's my only open crown hat but I also like it as it is.

Thanks Harv for the Borsalino remark. It is one of the easiest hat, I own, to wear in every condition .
Today under the sun rays I wear an American Legend (Beaver Brand)
sxes5z.jpg

It is one of the few Americans who have hats. I like it for its robustness and its simple construction .
Especially I like the shape with brim up

It is an homage to the green shades....woods are changing color

Heh, I haven't noticed that oversized look as a normal thing for beat cops here. You'll notice she's wearing a cherry-blossom pink shirt, which leads me to believe she was hired as temporary security to direct traffic during sakura season.

My 9 year old son Julius doing what he loves most. This little guy's favorite band is the Steve Miller Band and he has even seen them live 3 times. I just thought I would share this. This is a cover from John Henry Kurtz - Drift Away (1972) although he is performing the Rod Stewart and the Faces version
